When we began our movement two years ago, we embarked on a mission of overcoming our shame and living our lives full of dignity, no matter our race, ability, gender, or weight. As we’ve watched historic events unfold, over the past 2 months, we have thought carefully about how to best continue to support the BLM movement.
We know our strength is in our audience. Everything we do is to provide you with the tools to become better allies and activists within your own communities. We will continue to use our platforms to share educational resources on the experiences of our black neighbors, and how you can get involved in your own homes and communities. We cannot overcome what we ignore. We need to get uncomfortable, to educate, to raise awareness, to advocate, to change our systems.
To our black community members, we are here to listen and pass the mic. If you would like to share your words, thoughts, art and more please click here. We look forward to using our platform to amplify the voices of activists who are interested in sharing their experiences or call to actions.
